Privacy Policy
Effective November 1, 2026
This plain-English summary does not replace or override the complete Privacy Policy.
- We collect account details, public Listings and photographs, subscription information, contact and support messages, security and server records, and limited information about live conversations.
- Seller and Listing pages are public and may be copied, shared, or indexed by search engines.
- Live message content is designed to travel through an encrypted browser-to-browser connection. We do not intentionally create or retain a server-side transcript. Either participant may save a copy, and a direct connection may reveal network information such as an IP address.
- We keep conversation metadata—such as the participants, Listing, start and end times, and outcome—for capacity, contact history, safety, and abuse handling.
- A Seller can block a registered Buyer's account from requesting chats, or accept requests only from registered Buyers. A block records the two accounts, the Buyer's public name at the time, and when it was made. Only the Seller who made it can see it, and it lasts until that Seller removes it.
- We record the marketplaces and Listings you look at so that you can find a Seller again. It is on by default. For a signed-in account it is stored with the account, and you can pause it, remove entries, or clear it; for a signed-out visitor it stays in that visitor's own browser and never reaches us. It is shown only to you, never to a Seller, and is never used for advertising or recommendations.
- We use a session cookie for sign-in, security, and form protection. We do not use targeted-advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and do not sell personal information.
- We use service providers for hosting, security, email, storage, and subscription billing. Full payment-card details are handled by the payment processor and are not intentionally stored by us.
- You can update account details, control Listings, close your account, and ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal, safety, evidence-preservation, and operational exceptions.
- Copyright complaints and responses may be shared with the affected claimant or user and are kept as support records. See the Copyright page.
- Child-safety reports and related information may be preserved and disclosed to NCMEC, law enforcement, or another legally authorized recipient. Suspected child sexual abuse material must not be copied or attached to a report; follow the Child Safety Policy.
- The Service is for adults and is not directed to children. Parents, guardians, and others may report concerns through the Child Safety Policy.
